Dear Members and Friends of International Association of Sport Kinetics (IASK),
Today we received sad information that our community left two highly scientists and friends:

Professor Toivo Jürimäe (Estonia) Professor Emeritus of Tartu University (May 09, 1949 – 05 October, 2015) |
and |
Richard A. Schmidt (USA) Professor Emeritus of UCLA (March 31, 1941 - October, 2015) |
Professor Toivo Jürimäe was Editor in chief of "Acta Kinesiologiae Universitatis Tartuensis", Vice-president of IASK and splendid organizer of many important conferences, among others we met in Tartu during amazing International Conference Sport Kinetics 2001 when participated more than 150 scientists from 22 Countries. Always friendly and open to cooperate to everybody.
Professor Richard A. Schmidt – honorary member of IASK. UCLA Professor Emeritus and leading scientist and researcher at the intersection of the fields of psychology, physical education and kinesiology.
They will stay in our memory as a great university teachers, researchers and authors of many important publications. The place they lived become empty but memory of them stay living whole the times thanks to our thoughts and their numerous works.
